RGUKT IIIT Basar signs MoU with WE Hub to Empower Rural Youth through Entrepreneurship
In a significant step towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among rural students, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), IIIT Basar, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WE Hub, the Government of Telangana’s initiative for promoting women entrepreneurship and inclusive innovation.
RGUKT IIIT Basar, known for its student base predominantly from rural backgrounds across Telangana, is committed to nurturing the talent and potential of youth through cutting-edge education and forward-thinking collaborations.
The MoU aims to provide entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and incubation support to students, particularly those from rural areas, encouraging them to become job creators instead of job seekers.
The signing ceremony was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. A. Govardhan Garu, and Officer on Special Duty, Prof. Enelli Murali Darshan Garu, who has also signed the MoU on behalf of RGUKT. The collaboration marks a strategic initiative to transform rural youth into dynamic entrepreneurs by bridging the gap between innovation, industry, and rural aspiration.
This partnership with WE Hub will pave the way for new opportunities in entrepreneurship, innovation-driven careers, and inclusive development in rural Telangana.
