Chemical engineering encompasses the translation of molecular information into discovery of the new products and processes. The department was established in 2010 to provide a four-year undergraduate program. It aims to develop students into skilled engineers and contribute meaningfully to society. The curriculum combines foundational coursework with specialized electives in emerging fields like Computational Fluid Dynamics, Nanotechnology, and Petroleum Engineering. The department features nine faculty members conducting cutting-edge research and actively organizes industrial trips, mandatory summer internships, and live projects annually.
