Established 2010
The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2010. The department offers both B.Tech and M.Tech courses. The postgraduate program in Computational Mechanics commenced in 2016, with annual intakes of 120+ B.Tech and 18 M.Tech students. The department maintains 14 laboratories equipped with advanced machinery including Wire EDM, 3D printers, CMM, and CNC systems. A Design and Simulation Laboratory houses 90 high-performance computers supporting CAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS, and MATLAB software. The department has partnered with organisations like CITD-Hyderabad, NFTDC, and NASSCOM.

To be a global knowledge hub in mechanical engineering education, research, entrepreneurship and industry outreach services. To develop and serve practicing engineers, industry, government, and technical societies through consultancy work.
