Training & Placement Cell

The Training & Placement Cell at RGUKT Basar acts as a catalyst in providing students with options to develop themselves professionally into streams that match their aptitudes.

The cell organises campus recruitment drives, conducts mock interviews, group discussions, and pre-placement talks, and runs interactive sessions with industry experts. Personality development covering communication, presentation skills, group dynamics, and career planning is an integral part of the programme. The office includes departmental faculty representatives and student committees working together to build long-term corporate relations.

Summer Internship (E3 Students)

All third-year (E3) students are required to complete an 8-week summer internship commencing after E3 S2 exams, as mandated by the RGUKT curriculum. Internships must be of a problem-solving nature — training courses do not qualify. Eligible hosts include government agencies, CSIR laboratories, IITs/IIMs, DRDO, public sector enterprises, and leading IT companies. In-house (RGUKT campus) internships are not permitted.
