  • Description: This study demonstrates the various methods to enhance the PV output power extraction from solar PV arrays, and also to identify the faults and partial shading along with the mismatch modules and strings in grid-connected PV systems. The successful working of the proposed systems was tested through analysis, simulation, and hardware implementation.

  • Master’s Thesis: Analysis, operation, and control of self-excited induction generators for stand-alone and grid-connected applications.

  • Description: The analysis of self-excited induction generators has been studied for wind-driven applications using genetic algorithm optimization methods. Three different closed-loop configurations, all of them employing SEIGs and converters, have been developed, one for stand-alone and the other two for grid-connected applications of wind-driven systems. The successful working of the proposed systems was tested through analysis, simulation, and hardware implementation.
