Dr. K. KRUSHNA PRASAD

Dr. Krushna Prasad Kummari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar, Telangana, India, with over a decade of teaching and academic experience. He holds a Ph.D. in English from Telangana University, with his doctoral research titled “Self, Society and the Middle Class in Select Novels of Manju Kapur.” He has qualified the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State Eligibility Test (AP & TS SET) for Assistant Professorship and the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET). His academic and research interests include English Language Teaching (ELT), Communication Studies, Indian Writing in English, and Gender Studies. He has contributed extensively to these fields through publications in Scopus-indexed and UGC-CARE listed journals, along with several book chapters in edited volumes. His research engages with themes of identity, society, caste, and gender in Indian literature. Dr. Kummari has actively presented papers at numerous international and national conferences, reflecting his engagement with contemporary academic discourse. He has also served as a resource person for communication skills and English language awareness programmes, demonstrating his commitment to outreach and student development. He is the recipient of prestigious recognitions, including the IMRF Viksit Bharat Academic Excellence Award (2026) and the Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam National Academician Award (2025), in recognition of his contributions to education and research. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, he has held several administrative roles at RGUKT Basar, including Additional Chief Warden, NAAC core team member, and faculty coordinator for institutional activities. His teaching spans pre-university, undergraduate, and engineering programmes, with a focus on communication skills, soft skills, and technical English. Dr. Krushna Prasad Kummari is committed to advancing innovative pedagogy, interdisciplinary research, and student-centered learning in higher education.
