- Title: Geophone Based Signal Processing for Detecting Landslides (Jan, 2013 to Jul, 2013). Description: This project deals the effect of the footstep and vehicle movement signals on the landslide signals and it gives the detail explanation about the characteristics of the footstep, vehicle movement and landslide signals. Eventually it conforms the landslide signals and provides the landslide alert to the people. Environment: LabVIEW, NI-DAQ, NETGEAR Router, Geophone, nesC, and MICAz motes.
- Remote Triggered Lab Project (Aug, 2012 to Jul, 2013). Description: Program in nesC to remotely design different wireless sensor network and experiment sending and reception at various power levels. This experiment will calculate the life time of the network for given scenarios. Environment: nesC, LabVIEW and MICAz motes.
- Title: Continuous Monitoring and Detection of Landslides by using Wireless Geophone Network (July, 2012 to Dec, 2012). Description: The project deals with the detection of landslide by using wireless geophone network. Each wireless node is connected to the geophone to detect direction of the landslides. Environment: MSP430 microcontroller, ADS1282, Geophone, MICAz motes, nesC, MATLAB, Code Composer Studio and Proteus.
- A. Title – Agricultural Supply Chain Traceability System by Using Blockchain Technology B. Summary -Agricultural sector plays a major role in a country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The existing Food Supply Chain (FSC) suffers from issues like quality, safety, conscious consumption, and regulatory issues. Blockchain technology is a promising technology that can handle all the short comes faced by the current FSC with its key multidimensional features like decentralization, immutability, security, and smart contract. Introducing blockchain technology to FSC systems enhances sustainability and ensures the trust among different entities. The blockchain based FSC system suffers from data handling capability and regulatory issues. In this paper, the problems of the existing blockchain based FSC system are overcome by introducing a new Food Traceability System (FTS) by using Ethereum smart contract linked to an Inter Planetary File System (IPFS) which can handle huge amounts of data. The interaction between the different entities is elaborated by using sequence diagrams through the cryptocurrency called Amrita Virtual Coin (AVCoin) which overcomes regulatory compliances. Further the implementation framework of the proposed system and its advantages over the existing system are discussed. Finally, different types of open research challenges in the blockchain based FSC are addressed in the paper.
- Title: Performance Prediction of Cricket Player Using Blockchain Enabled HMM Model. Abstract. Sports play an essential role for human life which keeps physical and mental fitness. Competition in sports is rising day by day. In sports giving opportunity to right talented person is a challenging task. In countries like India, team sport like cricket faces huge competition. This paper introduces the performance prediction of cricket player using blockchain enabled Hidden Markov Model (HMM). In the proposed work, the time series data of matches played by batsmen during past one year is collected, analyzed and performance of a batsman is predicted by using HMM. The data obtained including the predicted results are stored in the proposed blockchain with IPFS based system architecture for data management, decentralization, data security and immutable. It focuses on the players rather than the whole match outcome so best players can team up.
