NOTE : Though Mr. S Chand Rakesh Roshan is entitled to avail 25 percent exemption in his workload (in the capacities of FIC TnP as well as HoD, Physics) , except for 2 semesters since his joining RGUKT Basar (2010) along with these additional responsibilities (HoD, Physics from 2011 till 2022 and Faculty Incharge (Section Head), Training and Placements from 2017 till 2022), he has always taken the average/maximum load of the department as he believes firmly in leading by example. Quick Summary : Faculty Incharge (Section Head), Training and Placements ( Oct 2017 - Oct 2022) : He has headed the Training & Placement of the University since 2017 and for the past 5 years, the placement percentage has been consistently on the rise (irrespective of covid) . Personally initiated the training programs (from scratch) under CSR activities of TCS, Barclays, Talentio and NASSCOM-DXC training program for the benefit of RGUKT Basar students. Responsible for the day to day activities in the Training & Placement section of the University. Head, Department of Physics (Nov 2011- July 2022) : Responsible for the day to day activities of the Department of Physics, Established Computational Physics research lab and Experimental Physics research lab, organized International conference and outreach programs. Students came out with flying colors every year with Top worldwide positions in NASA AMES Contest (2013 till 2018). The Department of Physics year after year stood out in bringing out the best in the form of projects at TechFest, RGUKT Basar. NPTEL Coordinator (2016- Till Date) and SWAYAM Coordinator (2017- Till Date) : More than 2000 students got certifications from NPTEL, instrumental in obtaining close to Eleven Lakhs Scholarship for RGUKT Basar students, Faculty are pursuing FDP’s and Refresher Programs through NPTEL and ARPIT through SWAYAM. RGUKT Basar is the first University in Telangana to adapt Credit transfer. Playing a crucial role in implementing initiatives of NPTEL at RGUKT Basar and thereby RGUKT Basar students getting hugely benefited. Soft Skills Training programs for RGUKT Basar students (from NPTEL) and MSLE (Microsoft Certification) Programs from Microsoft are in Progress from 2022.
